Our vision is to transform lives by caring for orphaned children and supporting the communities that surrounds them.
Our Mission
Our mission is to care for the orphans of Trans Mara region of Kenya as Christ would, by providing them with a loving, nurturing environment while tending to their physical, spiritual, emotional and educational needs.
Long Term Vision
The long-term vision of both Oasis and TMD is to replicate this model of orphan care and community development in other desperate locations throughout Kenya. Because of the network that TMD has already established through the Pastors and Elders of their community, we have a head start on identifying the areas of need. In addition, the TMD leaders are already raising the community support and leadership that is necessary for such a bold mission.
Throughout Kenya and the Trans Mara there are thousands of children living alone after the death of their parents. TMD and Oasis hope to build more Children’s Homes in this area to help these children and their communities. Potential future campus sites have already been identified in the Trans Mara, and the groundwork has begun to develop the leaders and support necessary. We have seen the difference that a stable home environment and loving care can make in the lives of orphaned children. It is our desire to give that to as many children as possible. Then they too can have hope for their future.
TMD and Oasis have identified a potential second orphan community campus location deep in the Maasai bush lands.
