Oasis for Orphans

Strategy

Our Strategy

Oasis for Orphans desires to partner with Kenyan Nationals to provide culturally sensitive solutions to the needs of their communities. While our focus is orphans, we believe that building a strong community through education, churches, vocational training and medical health is essential for success.

Our Partner

Trans Mara Development (TMD) is a non-profit organization founded by a group of Kenyan Nationals of the Maasai tribe and lead by Pastor Joseph ole Teleu. They have a detailed community development plan in place with a passion to see the Trans Mara and the Maasai people transformed by the love of God.

TMD's Mission statement is as follows:
In response to the Great Commission, TMD exists to stand in the gap for the less privileged children, women and men in the society and act as advocates to release them from their spiritual, physical, emotional and economic bondage so as to enable them to become responsible and fulfilled adults, who please both man and God.

Hope for the Orphans

The hope being brought to the orphans of the Trans Mara area is best expressed by the words of Pastor Joseph ole Teleu, Director of TMD:

"These children are the future leaders of Africa. (Isaiah 58:12) I believe God has saved these children for a special purpose. I believe that these children are the spark that will start a (change)that will sweep the continent. The region of Kenya that we are in, the Trans-Mara, is at the bottom of the scale when it comes to help from the government or aid groupings. Our goal is to provide care for all of the orphans of the Trans-Mara so that none will perish, so that one-day, from the most distant isolated region will come the greatest leaders to transform a country and a continent."
